John Finn

Co-Director & Producer

John Finn grew up in Upstate New York and built his early career as a production accountant in New York City, working on films including Lost in Translation, Pollock, and Before Night Falls. In 2004, he founded GreenSlate to bring a technology-first approach to entertainment payroll and production accounting. Over two decades, the company grew into the go-to platform for productions at Netflix, A24, Tyler Perry Studios, and Banijay Entertainment, and many others.

Outside of GreenSlate, John's creative roots run deep. He founded Chico's Barn, a beloved Upstate New York music venue that hosted national acts for over 20 years, and in 2008 started Esquela, his own band, that would go on to release five albums and play at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He also supports The Livestock Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the rural communities and agricultural traditions of Delaware County, New York.

Harlo Bray

Co-Director

Harlo is an artist, videographer, professional civil engineer, and a singer-songwriter in the band Pispoure. He graduated from SUNY Canton with a degree in Engineering Science, and spent five semesters studying Fine Arts at SUNY Cortland and Hartwick College. He is Project Engineer for Southland Contracting, at the Gilboa Dam Low Level Outlet Project and is the principle engineer and owner of Bray Engineering in Bovina Center, NY. He is currently in post-production on a short film and a documentary on Bovina history, which he is directing, editing and producing.

Garret Savage

Co-Director & Editor

Garret is a producer and editor based in Brooklyn. His documentary editing credits include the Peabody Award-winning “My Perestroika,” HBO's “How Democracy Works Now” series, “Ready, Set, Bag!” (LA Film Festival), and IFC's “4-Cylinder 400.” He is a producer of the independent feature documentary “One October,” and was an associate producer of the Emmy-nominated “Pressure Cooker” (Participant Films). He has edited projects for Paramount Pictures, ABC/ESPN, Discovery, IFC, AMC, MTV, and more. Garret was a 2009 Sundance Documentary Edit and Story Lab Fellow, the Program Director of the Nantucket Film Festival’s Teen View Film Lab, has taught documentary editing at NYU and is a founder and Board President of the Karen Schmeer Film Editing Fellowship.
